stand your ground

The Enemy is here. Stand your ground.

Romans 8:31- What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

The Adversary moves amongst us, moves against us. Don’t back down.

Ephesians 6:12- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

This is a spiritual battle. It is the one that counts. Everyday the spirit of the ruler tells us lies, provokes our anger, torments our souls. It says: Pacify me.

Ecclesiastes 10:4- If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.

In the spiritual battle, your values, beliefs, and morals are your place. Your relationship with God is your place.

You will be asked to leave your place daily. There are subtle little urgings to accept things we shouldn’t. To participate in things we don’t agree with. Go with the flow, take a step away from your place.

There are pressures and demands on all of us to compromise, look the other way, grab the loot, keep a secret. Turn away from your place.

Matthew 6:21- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 

Where is your treasure? Where is your place?

You might have to leave your house, but don’t leave your place with God. Stand your ground.

No matter where you go, you are still there.

Ephesians 6:11- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Put on the whole armor. Stand your ground.
