the three things from the Dem debates that are REALLY important

The recent Democratic debates reality show produced the usual liberal litany of health care for illegals, universal healthcare, taxing the “rich” and other socialist schemes, racism in America, and Trump bashing.

Much of the buzz involved the candidates unanimous support for free illegal alien healthcare and Kamala Harris’s ambush of Biden for a segregationist stance on busing. While there was plenty of fodder for social media, the meme world, and Conservative pundits- there were three moments in the debates everyone should think about:

1. Gun confiscation

The catchphrase is now “Gun buyback”- mandatory gun buyback that is. None of the candidates opposed gun buybacks, and it was a major topic. According to multiple candidates, gun manufacturers are “the Enemies”.

2. Abortions for trans females

Julian Castro demanded the government fund abortions for everyone- even those who will never need one. That’s a powerful confirmation of the revered status of abortion to these people.

Let’s break this down:  A man transitions to a woman. Even though I’m not aware it’s even possible- for said trans female to become pregnant would require some type of implanted fetus in a viable uterus. After having performed all these extraordinary artificial measures to get our trans female pregnant- we must not interfere with this person’s right to a federally-funded abortion.

Our lives are a constant journey of change. The first time we rode a bike without training wheels. Going to the mall by yourself. Driving a car. Infant, toddler, child, pre-pubescent, teen, young adult.

There are stages in maturity as well- adult, middle-age, menopausal, elderly- a constant life cycle that never pauses. Most of this metamorphical existence occurs after we are born, but some of it, the earliest developments, occur in the womb.

Everything has a beginning- and an end. A fully formed infant doesn’t spring into existence- it starts with one.

One cell becomes two and it continues from there. Is that microscopic little bundle of cells a human being?

Is it a fish? A lizard? Is it nothing?

It is a human being, in the very beginning stage. A necessary unavoidable stage in the cycle. You and I were once that. Think of it this way- each of these describe a phase of human existence: teen, fetus, toddler, adult, embryo.

Those who refuse to acknowledge this have proposed other arbitrary points on the developmental timeline as an alternative beginning: Heartbeat. That is not the beginning. That is when the circulatory system begins to transition from the umbilical cord to the infants’ own system.

Viability? The crux of this argument would appear to be that if you pulled the baby from the womb at various points, would it survive? Well, it’s not supposed to. There is a normal time- full term- when the infant is “viable”. Any time short of that is, naturally, less viable.

Another- can it survive outside the womb? Can a three year old? A six year old? Not without assistance. I know some grown people who would struggle. That sort of subjective judgement is invalid and dangerous.

It is dangerous because inevitably we arrive at this point:
