I always wonder about things that aren’t said. The details we aren’t told. Like, how many people died in the flood? What were they doing so bad that the flood was the only solution?
I realize that we have been told what we need to know. All the other stuff, well, the devil is in the details. Literally.
Specific numbers evolve into all sorts of myths, theories, occult symbols and numerology. 3, 3 and a half, 7, 10, 12, 70 times 7, 666, twelve thousand, 144,000- all these Biblical numbers have theories, papers, books, and youtube videos about them. We would have “The Flood Code” and all sorts of speculation about when we reach the same population, the next great destruction will come and on and on. The Bible actually does tell us how many died: Everybody.
Everybody except for eight. And as for the specifics of the society? Speculation and specifics about evil deeds become occult symbols, myths, revered relics, profane ideologies, perverted rituals, false legends. Celebrations and sacraments of evil. Sorcery, voo doo, witchcraft, santeria, human sacrifice, ritualistic abuse and murder. There was already a ‘Flood cult’ in the camp of Israel when Joshua brought them over:
Joshua 24:15- And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Me and my house too, Joshua. Amen.
Again, the Bible does tell us what the people were up to, what the state of the world was at that time:
Genesis 6:5- And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
How far we have fallen in just five chapters!
Genesis 1:31- And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good… -And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (2:3)
God saw the Creation, that it was good. He rested from his Great Work, and blessed and sanctified the day in celebration of the Creation. But now:
Genesis 6:11-13- The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
I have spoken with skeptics who actually have less of a problem with the notion of a Flood- they are open to the possibility- what they have a problem with is the ‘barbaric God killing everybody’. Destroying His Creation was a sad thing, but regrettably, God had no choice.
Ecclesiastes 1:9- The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

and the earth was filled with violence
We can always look to the past and observe the present- there is nothing new under the sun- to figure out how things work. Times change but people don’t. We can also similarly look to the Bible and see that there are two things that really get God’s goat, so to speak. He freely admits he is a jealous God- He created us, why would we worship something else? And, the other thing:
Mark 10:14- But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Matthew 18:6- But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
It’s hard to imagine what the world was like then, in a different time long ago. If the folks before the Flood were just drinking whiskey and playing poker- they would be foolish people like many others, but God wouldn’t have saw fit to utterly wipe them out. We simply cannot imagine a world so evil. There is still light and good left in our world- alot compared to Noah’s time- where there was NONE. Since there is nothing new under the sun, I believe we can observe the world around us, and look to the past, to see how things were before the Flood.

Little Diego Torres was murdered when he was two-years old. The MS-13 gang had determined his 19 year-old mother had disrespected them, so they decided to kill her. When she brought her son with her when they lured her to a park, they decided to kill him too. The first shot amazingly didn’t kill him, and the little toddler got up and walked over to the man who shot him in the head and hugged his leg. So the gang-banger shot him in the head again. What is an appropriate punishment?

JonBenet Ramsey
Anyone over the age of thirty-five probably remembers the case of JonBenet Ramsey. The six-year old had her skull fractured, was brutally raped and then strangled in the basement of her own home. The murder was never solved. What do you think should happen to such an evil person?
Remember Maddie McCann? Four year-old sold by her parents to an elite pedophile network under cover of authorities? (I know that is not the ‘official’ version- but I studied it enough to confidently say that IS what happened). What should happen to people who prey on children, and an evil parent that will sell their child to pedophiles?

Maddie McCann
A couple of fellows I work with were discussing the ISIS one day. One of the fellows was of the opinion that if we would just leave them alone, they would quit hating and become good people. ‘They hate us because’ of this and that and the other thing, he said. The next night, the other fellow had brought a video sent to him by a buddy in the military. They had bombed an ISIS position and when they went in they found homemade ISIS videos that ISIS had made of themselves when they had rolled into some village.
First you can see a bunch of people screaming and running and being shot at. Next you can see a little boy that is standing looking around. A man comes up and backhands him, knocking him down before shooting him. Next you can see five men kneeling on the ground with their hands on their heads sobbing and crying. In the corner of the frame you can see a sexual assault of a woman beginning in the background. They then shoot the men. Then you can see a little girl sitting on the ground. She has obviously been injured and cannot move. She is staring up at the men walking by. Eventually, one of the men kicks her and sends her sprawling across the ground, blood spurting out.

“Turn it off” I said as I turned away. The first fellow shook his finger at the other guy and said “They hate us because? No. No because.
THEY HATE.”
God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth.
I tell you, drowning is too good for these people. Far too quick and painless.
We know that God promised to never destroy the world again with a flood. But he certainly didn’t say he wouldn’t take care of things. In fact, you can take it to the bank: if you start worshipping strange gods and abusing children, destruction will follow.
Genesis 18:20-21- And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. 19:13- For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.
A society can be judged by its attitudes towards its children. There is a pattern of wickedness. The children of Israel turned away from God, then they began to offend their children:
Jeremiah 32:35- And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

pass through the fire
‘Causing them to pass through the fire’ is another way of saying they were thrown into the fire burning in the Baal statue idol. And because of this, Israel was scattered to the wind, and the survivors captured and taken to Babylon.
The tribes and nations of the New World practiced human/child sacrifice. In 1487, five years before Columbus, the Aztecs re-dedicated their temple. Over a four day period 80,400 men, women, and children were sacrificed.

Aztec virgin sacrifice
The Aztec’s neighbors to the south, the Incas, sacrificed children regularly, at least 20% of all the children born to them met this sad fate. In the area where Mexico is now, it is estimated that up to 250,000 human sacrifices were performed annually. When the Europeans began landing on the mainland in the early 1500’s, within 50 years 90% of the New World had been wiped out. By smallpox mainly. God is not mocked.

Inca child sacrifice
Jesus once spoke about the days of Noah:
Luke 17:27- They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
In other words, the world had gone to hell, and nobody cared. Everyone sought to do wickedly all the time. Evil was normal, good was bad, bad was good. Like the lawless places we can observe today, if the children aren’t murdered, they are abused, turned into child soldiers, and are completely perverted mentally and spiritually. Children didn’t have a chance. God is not mocked.
He will not continue to send his precious children into a place where they have no chance. Whether by war, disease, or a meteor shower, the wicked will fall. The flood people were lucky. Drowning is a fairly quick painless end for the perverts that hurt children.
I wonder where we are. Do we live in a world that has turned from God? Do we put other things before God?
How do we treat the children?
I think there is cause for concern.
