Former-CIA Officer Warns: “Dark” Left Violence is Coming

Trump Coup Biggest Violation of Constitution in History – Kevin Shipp

President Trump says the Deep State tried and failed to remove him from office in a coup. Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says the attempted coup on Trump was a global conspiracy. Shipp explains, “Yes, this is a coup. This is the most shocking violation of the Constitution and criminal activity in the history, not just of America, but of a western government. Much of this rises to the level of treason. People need to understand how shocking this is. It was a clear conspiracy. There will be arrests and indictments without question. . . . This was a coup. It was a conspiracy. It was criminal activity. These people need to be indicted, charged and need to be put in prison, and if they’re not, then our Constitution is nothing more than a sham. This was a coup against a duly elected President, and people need to understand how serious this is.”

Shipp adds, “We have a not so covert civil war going on right now that has been brewing over 60 years. We have the ‘Dark Left,’ and the DNC is fully involved with all their Congressmen and Senators. There is a Marxist movement within the DNC that is in control right now. You can match up the progressive goals with Marxist documents, and you can see they are one in the same. . . . They have to change and eliminate the Constitution. . . . They want to change the First Amendment and the Second Amendment first of all. Second of all, they despise and are targeting Christianity because Christianity . . . underlines the Constitution and is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. That’s their second target they have to destroy. Their third target is the founding principles of America. That’s our culture. They have to destroy those three things if they are going to overturn our Constitution and turn this into a global Marxist government. That is not an understatement. . . . It’s not the same party of JFK. It’s now a Marxist party and an umbrella for every victim, twisted and perverted group that has nowhere else to go. This is a mortal blow to the Democrat Party when these things come out.”

Shipp predicts President Trump will declassify more than anyone can imagine. Shipp says, “They have been using ‘classification’ as a way to cover up illegal activity. The CIA has, especially in the case of this coup, not just in this, but in other things they have done criminally. They have been withholding things from Congress using ‘classification’ for decades. Trump knows what those are, and he is going to demand that classification is removed so the American people can see it. I am going to be dancing on top of my house if and when that happens.”

Shipp predicts Trump will win re-election in 2020. Shipp says Trump won’t be voted in by just devout Republicans, but Democrats who are running from their party because of how extreme it has gotten. Shipp explains, “Yes, they are running from the Democrat Party. Support for Trump has been increasing by the millions. A lot of these Democrats are being very, very quiet right now because they know what will happen to them if they come out in support of Trump. When 2020 comes, these Democrats are going to push that button and pull that lever for Trump, and it’s going to be more shocking than 2016.”

So, what’s the danger for “We the People”? Ship says, “The danger for ‘We the People’ is the Dark Left and Dark Left violence. As these indictments begin to come out, and as the players are called out, the violence on what I call the Dark Left, the violence is going to increase to the point where it’s going to be very, very bad. There are going to be beatings and probably shootings, and shooting at police. . . . There is going to be a lot of violence coming from the Left in the next year or two. This is one of the reasons you need to exercise your 2^nd Amendment rights . . . because of what the Left is going to do with these findings and what is going to be the death knell for the Democrat Party and the death knell for taking over our Constitution and culture. They will exponentially bring up their violence, and Americans need to arm themselves and protect themselves against that.”

the bridge

We often compare people to inanimate objects- like rocks, wind, and fire crackers- depending on the type of person you are. (Lug nuts).

Jesus told believers that they were candles and salt.

But regardless of personality type or spiritual affiliation, one thing that everyone can be described as is a bridge.

You, me, all of us are a bridge between those that have gone before, and those that come after. YOU are the link between your parents and grandparents, and your children and grandchildren.

That is how traditions and values are passed from generation to generation. It is a key factor in societal stability.

A good bridge will strengthen the links between generations. All the good things should be brought across the bridge. All bad things should be blocked from crossing.

What kind of bridge are you? Do you bring all the good things you can across? Do you actively stop all the bad things from making it over? Break bad cycles?

Some people have blocked off one side of the bridge. Sometimes that is necessary. Pray for wisdom to know if you should.

Some people have blocked both sides. Some have a treacherous hole in the middle.

Is your bridge safe and open?

Bridges are a part of every journey. One generation can follow the next down the good road. Raging waters and deep ravines can be traversed safely.

We are all a bridge, connecting our past with our future. Linking our families together, our parents with our children.

Bring every good thing across. Leave the junk behind. Always be open.

A bridge is a terrible thing to burn.

The King’s Cobbler- a parable

He was once a cobbler for cabbage farmers and swine herders.

He had arrived in this village when he was a young cobbler- seeking a place that needed a shoemaker. He and his young wife found the village to be good and honest- and in constant need of boots and shoes and slippers. And they always paid- in pigs and cabbages.

Thus, the cobbler had to go to market with his pigs and cabbages- amongst the other swineherders, cabbage farmers, merchants, pigs, and ripe cabbages- to sell them for the other things they needed besides pork and cabbage. Even though it was a day spent bartering pigs instead of making shoes- it was a small price to pay for a good living and his family never wanted. He smiled as he looked out over the bustling stinky market- kids chasing squealing pigs, wagons of cabbage, yelling and bartering- before scurrying off to find the leather merchant, cord seller, and tack man.

It was known throughout the land that the King was very cruel. Occasionally, a noble from the duchy would appear at market. There was an unwritten rule that should any noble ever ask about a craftsman, that it was to be said that “thus and thus person came from a village in the south and has returned”. For once the town had a very fine blacksmith- who caught the attention of a king’s captain. He was sent to work for the King’s livery. For a time, he worked for the King and was paid in silver coins everyday. Soon, the King went to war, and the blacksmith was required to stay at the armory and stables during these urgent times. For a time, he continued to send money home, but eventually it stopped and the blacksmith was never heard from again. It was said, he displeased the King. The same thing happened to a very fine tailor and coat-maker. So the craftsman and all the villagers would say that the dresses and tools and coats and shoes came from such and such from the south.

One day, the duke himself went to see how it went at the market. As the Duke passed through the market, he began to notice something. How is it that these cabbage farmers and swine herders have better boots than the King’s army? he thought, for he himself loved good boots and knew a good cobbler was rare in the kingdom.  He said to one farmer “where is the cobbler?” to which the farmer said “the cobbler is from a village in the south. He passes through by and by”. The Duke asked a swine herder again the same question and was again given the same reply.

As the Duke passed by the cobbler and his wife at their wagon, he noticed their clothes and hands were not dirty and stained. This is no cabbage farmer he thought as he walked up and asked “where is the cobbler?” The cobbler, who was very annoyed at having missed the leather merchant and glue seller- was surprised at the appearance of the Duke and stood silent. “The cobbler comes from a village in the south and passes by from time to time” his wife hurriedly stated as he stood stunned. “Well,” said the Duke “the next time you see this cobbler, you tell him the Duke is a man who appreciates a good cobbler.” He then leaned in very close to the cobbler and said “you tell him that the Duke pays his cobbler in silver coins- not cabbage and swine”

The cobbler, who thought for a moment about how nice it would be to not have to come to this dreadful market, this stinky smelly pig sty, but instead be paid in money and not have to barter and risk missing the leather and cord merchants. He then told the Duke, “this cobbler- he fears the King. Oftentimes, it is said he becomes displeased with his subjects and punishes them.” The Duke said “Sir, I have selfish purposes in this. I appreciate a good cobbler, they are rare. It would be a discreet treasure for my duchy, one that I would not risk the King taking.” Then, against his better judgement and the stare of his wife, the cobbler said, “I am the cobbler.”

For quite awhile, the arrangement worked very well. The cobbler made boots, shoes, and slippers for the Duke and all his family. He made boots for his guard and soldiers. And he was paid in silver coins and did not have to barter pigs and cabbages anymore. His wife was able to obtain fine cloth and jewelry. They were able to buy anything they needed at the market. He was a real cobbler- the Duke’s cobbler.

One day the Duke came to him and asked him to make a special pair of boots, made of exotic leather and fur and studded with jewels. Pleased to display his skills, the cobbler agreed and worked as he never had before to produce the most beautiful boots anyone had ever seen. The Duke paid him well. Pleased to display his extravagant boots, the Duke went to the castle for the King’s banquet.

The cruel King was in his usual haughty jovial acrid mood at the banquet. He alternatively joked with and then derided all the Counts and Dukes at various points. He would praise and then insult, laugh and then threaten. When he inevitably arrived at our Duke, he berated him, asking “how many cabbages did you bring the Queen this time, Duke Swine?” As the chamber roared the Duke smiled and laughed along. Then the King grew serious and said, “when are you going to bring something useful to the kingdom? if you cannot find any talent in your duchy, perhaps I should give it to someone else?” The Duke stared back uncomfortably. “Sir Connor!” the King said addressing a knight at the table, “perhaps you are ready for a duchy?”

“My Lord!” the Duke jumped up and yelled. “I have found talent in my duchy, in fact, a cobbler like none I have ever known have I found. Look at these boots!” He walked to the kings’ chair and pulled up his cloak to reveal the ruby-studded, fur lined boots the cobbler had made. “Oh my!” said the King, who also appreciated good footwear, “let me try them.” The Duke handed them over to the King who walked up and back with the boots on. “These are indeed the best boots!” The Duke smiled and agreed to which the King said “bring me this cobbler!” The Duke then frowned and said, “my King. This cobbler comes from the south and travels to and fro. When he comes by tell me what your highness wants and I will have him make it for you. Do you want boots like these?”

“I want this cobbler!” bellowed the King. “If you do not bring me him, Sir Connor will be Duke of your duchy!”

He was now the King’s Cobbler.

The King was pleased with all the boots and shoes he made. He gave him assistants, that he taught how to cut -out and sew the best boots for the King’s army. He enjoyed designing all the extravagant boots and slippers, and being given all the exotic materials to work with. The King paid him in gold coins, he and his wife were becoming rich.

One day the King said to him, “I have a celebrated banquet I am hosting. There will be many kings and royals from far lands friendly with us. I want them to see that I have the best boots that are. That I have talent in my kingdom that is not exceeded.” The cobbler told him how he could make boots studded with diamonds, sewn with silver thread, made of black leather. The King was pleased when he was done and proudly wore them to the great banquet. Many were stunned and marveled at the splendor of the boots.

One old rival, a king from the eastern realm, complimented his footwear. “Indeed, I have the best cobbler in the known world!” the King said. “Well,” the other king said, pulling back his robe, “I do not know if you should go that far!” He had boots that were overlaid with intricate gold sheets all over, encrusted with sapphires, diamonds, and rubies. “Well” our King said, dismayed, “my boots are exquisitely comfortable. Those look rather sharp and rigid.”

“Oh, not at all.” He let our King try them and it was like placing your foot in a cloud. The King sent and told his cobbler that by the end of the week, before the guests departed the last banquet, that he would have have gold-plated boots that exceeded anything this king from the east could possibly produce.

The cobbler and his assistants, no matter how they tried, could not work the gold plates onto the boots. The plates would have to be beaten very thin, and then would crack, bend, and break. In despair, the cobbler returned to his old shop to get some of his old tools. A little boy, a son of one of the cabbage farmers, walked in carrying a shoe in one hand, and two small cabbages in the other. “I’m closed!” he growled to the boy. “Oh” said the lad sadly, as he dropped his head and turned and walked away. The cobbler could see his barefoot was bleeding.

“Come back, come back!” the cobbler sobbed and he knelt down and took the shoe from the boy. “I only have this many cabbage” said the boy. “Is that enough?” he asked. “Yes” said the cobbler, thinking he had not eaten cabbage in what seemed like a long time now. He missed it.

As the King bid his guests farewell, the king from the east said to him “send your cobbler over to my kingdom. Working the gold is a skill that must be taught. I had to send my cobbler to a master in the isles to learn the skill.”

“Pity” said the King. “I had him hanged this morning. He was a bad man. He lied to me and said he was a good cobbler.”

He was once a cobbler for cabbage farmers and swine herders.

the wild grapevine- a parable

Dedicated to my brother Ben:

The wild grapevine grows in the forest. We are all branches on the wild grapevine.

Many branches spread forth bearing fruit- grapes of green, red, white, purple-to the delight of those creatures that find them and to the glory of the whole wild vine.

Other branches spread forth and bear not fruit, but rather array themselves with great leaves- fuzzy, thick, broad- so that the whole wild vine may receive the light that makes it live.

Other branches grow thick, twining about the shrubs and trees of the forest, so that the whole wild vine may be supported and secure lest it would tumble down and the fruit be spoiled and the vine trampled.

Still other branches fall into shadow, and wither. If too many are darkened, the whole wild vine will be in peril:

Lastly, there are wandering branches. They spring forth from the vine, to find a new place in the sun. They do not do this for pride or arrogance; but rather out of reverence and wonder. Some spring too far and are broken; others find themselves amongst briars and noxious vines and are choked out.

But behold! A wandering branch has found a new place in the sun!

And the whole wild grapevine is made greater.

chocolate and vanilla: the ice cream parable

Politics is like unto a restaurant that has a fancy dessert menu.

Three customers come into the restaurant after the show for a sweet before going home. All three receive a dessert menu and decide to have pie.

The waiter arrives “Have you decided on a dessert yet?” The first customer orders apple pie, but is advised by the waiter that there is no apple pie. Surprised, the customer glances back at the menu briefly and decides on cherry pie. Again, the waiter advises there is no cherry pie.

Now annoyed, the customer asks for a moment, and finally half-heartedly settles for peach pie. And again, is told there is no peach pie. “Pumpkin?” No. “Pecan?” No. “Coconut cream, key lime, rhubarb?” No, no, and No!

“Well what do you have?” he demanded.

“We have delicious ice cream” the waiter said. “You can choose chocolate or vanilla!”

“You only have ice cream? Why do you have pie on the menu?” the customer asked.

“Because our customers want pie on the menu!” the waiter stated “We give our customers what they want!”

The first customer shook his head incredulously and stood up and told the waiter “You are liars. You pretend to have many choices but don’t have any!” The waiter replied that there was a choice for chocolate ice cream and also a choice for vanilla ice cream.

“But it’s all just ice cream!” the customer protested before declaring “I will not be back!”

The waiter then asked the second customer if he had decided on a dessert? “Well, I guess I’ll take ice cream” the customer mumbled. He didn’t really want ice cream, but he wanted SOMETHING, so he decided just to take what they had.

The third customer, however, was not convinced. “I was here just the other day” he said. “You had all kinds of pie! Are you sure there is no pie?”

No pie, the waiter advised.

The customer then said “maybe you don’t know about the pie, maybe you got too much ice cream, maybe you are saving it for someone else… But I think you have pie!” And the customer then stormed into the kitchen and started looking in cases, under shelves, and in the ovens. He then threw open a cooler and Ah ha! There they were, the pies!

“Mmmm” he said as he ate the hidden pie. “I knew they had pie here!”

And then the cops came and threw him in jail for breaking into the kitchen and calling the waiter a liar.

snakes on the road- a parable

When I was very early in my recovery from alcohol, I had a dream. It was such a vivid and surreal dream- different from regular dreams- with such remember-able detail, that I think maybe it was a vision? Well I cannot tell, and I am not a visionary man, but either way here is the dream, a parable I call “snakes on the road”:

I was walking down the road when a very thick fog quickly rolled in. The fog became so thick, that I couldn’t see anything around me. I could barely even see my hand that I was holding out.

I began to get an eerie feeling that something was in the fog and it was getting nearer. I began to push forward quicker, even though I couldn’t see where I was going. It felt like I had left the road as brush and sticks slapped my legs and I began to stumble over unseen obstacles. I imagined I could almost feel the hot breath on my neck from some unseen entity in the fog.

A feeling of doom and dread enveloped me. I stopped and cried out “Help!”

A fresh dry wind swept through, blowing all the fog away in an instant, revealing I stood at the edge of a cliff, one next step away from going over.

I backed away from the cliff, and found the road again. After a short time, I came across a small snake in the road. Though small, it was venomous and I knew I should kill it, which I accomplished rather easily with my foot.

As I traveled on, I continued to encounter ever larger snakes. Soon I picked up a club, and soon after that, a sharp stick as it took increasingly complex tactics to kill the increasingly larger, more dangerous snakes.

I found myself up against a very large sinister reptile, one I didn’t see how to defeat alone. Just then, I could see another fellow on the road who was similarly vexed.

I called out to him, and together we defeated the snakes. As we traveled on together, we were able through various cooperative strategies to dispatch increasingly larger fearsome reptiles.

With each victory, we confidently took on the next larger foe. Planning and execution made the largest, most fearsome snakes dead in our path.

All of a sudden, we saw something ahead:  A snake so big that it could not be killed; not by us. 

As the behemoth moved towards us, we found a safe place to hide, until the danger was passed.

My interpretation:

Sometimes when the road becomes so dark and foggy, that we cannot see our way through, we have to have enough belief and faith to call for the help we need, for the fog to lift so we can see the road. If we try to stumble forward blindly, the results can be catastrophic.

When we encounter opposition, temptation, and trials, we move forward without fear and overcome the danger on our path. Each victory strengthens, affirms, and empowers us to confidently push forward against the next danger, big and small.

The time will come when we need help from others on the road, and we learn how to work together to overcome the bigger snakes out there.

And sometimes, the prudent course is to find a safe place to wait. Watch and pray. Some snakes cannot be killed, only avoided.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

More madness

Away we go again.  The Notre Dame fire has the truth exploding forth from the shadows.  Everytime something happens the Main Stream Media already have their phrases and buzzwords memorized.  How many times did we hear NOT ARSON before the ashes even cooled.  This is sad beyond pathetic, as soon as facts start coming in.  This was not the first time Notre Dame was attacked, it seems there was someone with gas cans and lighter fluid.  We won’t hear this in the news.  The news also never mentioned the fact that another major Church had been torched, adding to the dozens of Church attacks all across France.  Wow, what we were supposed to think was ONE isolated incident that could NEVER be arson happened in France, what some internet diggers and homespun journalists just happened to dig up is upsetting.  While this not arson is being reported, Churches by he dozens are being burned and vandalized Right here on our soil.  The media forgot to mention one word of this.

While we have that madness going on we still have the boxing match over Russian collusion going on.  we can fight over release all the documents, none of the documents, who’s sweating, blah blah blah.  Meanwhile laws are getting passed, DC crimes continue, and the SWAMP is still considered a valuable ecosystem.  My question is to WHOM!!  Laws stripping OUR rights are not getting NATIONAL attention.  Somebody catches measles and the Gestapo is coming for YOU and CHILDREN!!  New York wants to put you on organ donor lists without your consent, and FEDERAL RED FLAG 2018 is now bribing states to enact them.  This is a FEDERAL CRIME and considering thus is an impeachable offense of bribery, and not impeaching is an impeachable offense.  The swamp just gets murkier.

Dear Reader, if you go out and help law enforcement, and they are grateful for your help, the governor wants the FEDS to throw you in jail, and they do, would you question their sanity??  This is what happened when the militia decided to help border control detain some of these poor starving ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.  The governor doesn’t tell the County Sheriff to pick this guy up on a warrant, NO!  The FBI picks him up.  Was a warrant even signed?  Things are heating up over this mess.  It seems with the latest batch on the way the gravytrain supporting food, shelter, facilities and water supplies are down to a trickle, and once supportive towns and municipalities have run out of patience.  Helping them is now against the law, and they now are left to their own devices in a foreign land, and going down and fetching these poor urchins will be our next moral obligation.  Did YOU ask them to invade?  I didn’t either!  Starving to death on MEXICAN soil is going to be our fault next.  Is Cloward-Piven now satisfied that the system will be completely overwhelmed, and crash according to plan, and the wall will block their escape to return to where they came from.  Things are never as they seem folks.  It truly saddens me the way people cling to the thought that Donald Trump is going to save us, turn this around, fix all these messes by going to court and letting everything drag out.  People want to blame little “o” and the democrats, and spineless republicans, but NDAA, and RED FLAG were impossibilities, and DT is for the 2nd amendment, while Red Flag ties into Obamacare data collection Police State Gestapo putting BOB in jail or killing him for talking to someone.  Welcome to the HURT LOCKER people.  I hope people start paying attention to those little subtleties that make them go Whaaat!!

Matthew 28-

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

² And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

³ His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

⁴ And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

⁵ And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

⁶ He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

⁷ And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

⁸ And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

⁹ And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

¹⁰ Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

¹¹ Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

¹² And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

¹³ Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

¹⁴ And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

¹⁵ So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

¹⁷ And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

¹⁹ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

 

Mark 16-

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

² And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

³ And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

⁴ And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

⁵ And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

⁶ And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

⁷ But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

⁸ And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

⁹ Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

¹⁰ And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

¹¹ And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

¹² After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

¹³ And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

¹⁴ Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

¹⁶ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

¹⁷ And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

¹⁸ They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

¹⁹ So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

²⁰ And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

 

Luke 24-

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

² And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

³ And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

⁴ And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

⁵ And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

⁶ He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

⁷ Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

⁸ And they remembered his words,

⁹ And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

¹⁰ It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

¹¹ And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

¹² Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

¹³ And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.

¹⁴ And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

¹⁵ And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

¹⁶ But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

¹⁷ And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

¹⁸ And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

¹⁹ And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

²⁰ And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

²¹ But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

²² Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

²³ And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

²⁴ And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

²⁵ Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

²⁶ Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

²⁷ And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

²⁸ And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

²⁹ But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

³⁰ And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

³¹ And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

³² And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

³³ And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

³⁴ Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

³⁵ And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

³⁶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

³⁷ But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

³⁸ And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

³⁹ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

⁴⁰ And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

⁴¹ And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

⁴² And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

⁴³ And he took it, and did eat before them.

⁴⁴ And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

⁴⁵ Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

⁴⁶ And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

⁴⁷ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

⁴⁸ And ye are witnesses of these things.

⁴⁹ And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

⁵⁰ And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

⁵¹ And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

⁵² And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

⁵³ And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

John 20-

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

² Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

³ Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

⁴ So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

⁵ And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

⁶ Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

⁷ And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

⁸ Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

⁹ For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

¹⁰ Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

¹¹ But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

¹² And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

¹³ And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

¹⁴ And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

¹⁵ Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

¹⁶ Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

¹⁷ Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

¹⁸ Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

¹⁹ Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

²⁰ And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

²¹ Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

²² And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

²³ Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

²⁴ But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

²⁵ The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

²⁶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

²⁷ Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

²⁹ Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

³⁰ And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

³¹ But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
