When I was a young Bondo, the old-timey men would say things like “Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see…” or words to that effect. Before the age of computer graphics, internet, cell phones, and cable TV- you might think, as I did, that the old-timey men have got some anti-establishment paranoia going on here.
But, you see, is doesn’t take altered images, viral posts, or internet bots to fool people. These old-timey men knew what most of us eventually figure out: Regardless of the medium, you are going to get what they give you. And what they give you is not your choice. Whether you a) receive it or b) believe it is your part in the matter.
I once witnessed an auto accident in front of Dow Chemical. Two guys were crossing the road in a Chevelle when this big fancy pickup truck blew through the light and smashed into them sending them spinning. The passenger tried to walk around before falling, and we convinced him to stay down. His buddy, on the side that got hit, was unconscious. I checked on the pickup truck guy, who was wearing a Rolex and a Dow badge. He said he got distracted by something rolling around in his floorboard, but was otherwise fine.
Imagine my surprise when I read the next day in the local paper that this accident had not occurred in the way that I had thought I had seen it at all. According to the Brazosport Facts, our pickup driving Dow employee had made every effort to avoid the Chevelle when the other driver ran the red light, but was unable to, alas. Whether the newspaper or the police dept. is to blame….

One day, I had the privilege of being at the big CPS headquarters in Houston. (why I was there will be the topic for another post) As I approached the entrance I could see that the KTRK Eyewitness News Channel 13 Live! at Five van was there and the reporter was speaking to Estella Olguin, head of CPS. (the cameras were not rolling, this was a pre-interview interview) As I approached, I could hear Ms. Olguin telling the reporter ‘we did not know where those children were’ to which the reporter stated ‘your case supervisor said they knew which relative the kids were staying with’ to which Ms. Olguin stated ‘there are alot of things that still need to be verified, but for the purposes of this interview our office really did not know where those children were.’ They were, of course, talking about some abused kids that had been under CPS oversight.
And that night, even though the case supervisor told Channel 13 by telephone that they knew where the kids were staying, Dave Ward assured us that, in fact, CPS did not know where these poor abused kids had been staying, so they were unaware of the abuse. And now Marvin, tell us about the slime in the ice machine!

In the following video, on-lookers with cellphones and cameras recorded CNN staging a ‘protest’ by ‘moderate Muslims’ against ‘extremists’ (5:28)
Fifteen or twenty ethnic people, a few placards- hand-written of course- and a tight camera shot- voila! you have got yourself an organic protest here bud! You can see that the one guy doesn’t have a clue about nothing, but he does seem worried about when he is going to get his 35 pounds or whatever they pay these ‘protesters’

Back when W ran for president, when he selected Dick Cheney to be his running mate, every channel you tuned in would say ‘Cheney adds gravitas to the ticket’. Here is a word that no one had ever heard of before, and now everyone in the MSM is saying it like it is as common a word as Mother. I can see one pretentious snobby opinionator dreaming up a word like gravitas but everybody in the whole MSM? Gimme a break. That’s journalistic coordination, collusion, whatever the word is. (And the point of it by the way, was to infer that W didn’t have gravitas) You get what they give you.
Remember when the Marines were flushing Korans down the toilet in Gitmo in order to humiliate the Muslims? Using deductive reasoning, this story can be discredited in less than five minutes. As soon as one of you successfully flushes a Koran down the toilet, send me the video and I will retract.
You get what they give you.
You can use another kind of reasoning for other types of lies. A couple weeks back, we witnessed a bizarre occult psychological operation (topic for another post) at the Grammys, whereby various freaks and misfits (topic for another post) read to us from a screed by Michael Wolff called ‘Fire and Fury’. Amongst the nonsense this man claims is that Donald and Melania Trump cried when he won the election, because they didn’t really want to win. If they didn’t really want to win- then why did they collude with Russians to win?

There have been countless leaks and document reveals that makes me wonder why anyone would even bother with the MSM, unless that is all they ever check into, in the which case, they would think that all is well? The wonderful CIA is heavily invested in the MSM. I don’t have the time to scratch the surface here, but there really was an Operation Mockingbird. Don’t think it does not continue. Anderson Cooper admits he once worked for the CIA. Has anyone noticed how all these ex-spooks are now in the media- like former CIA-director John Brennan now part of the MSNBC ‘family’? They are not even trying hide it anymore.

John Swinton, publisher and editor with the New York Sun and the New York Times amongst others during his career, famously quoted at the press dinner in 1883:
There is no such a thing in America as an independent press, unless it is out in country towns. You are all slaves. You know it, and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to express an honest opinion. If you expressed it, you would know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid $150 for keeping honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for doing similar things. If I should allow honest opinions to be printed in one issue of my paper, I would be like Othello before twenty-four hours: my occupation would be gone. The man who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the street hunting for another job. The business of a New York journalist is to distort the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to villify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread, or for what is about the same — his salary. You know this, and I know it; and what foolery to be toasting an “Independent Press”! We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping-jacks. They pull the string and we dance. Our time, our talents, our lives, our possibilities, are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.
the real deal
I have been encouraging everyone to watch the following video while it is still available:
It is long- 3 hours and 27 minutes- but well worth the investment. I do not agree with everything in the video, but it is excellent in illustrating just how the world- and the media- work.
Just remember:
Don’t believe anything you read, and only half of what you see. You get what they give you. That is the real deal.
